This Fall, three new staff appointments are set to further bolster ALTIS’ status as a global leader in Sports Performance and Coach Education.
Duncan Mathieson is set to start as Vice-President International, where he will be working with the team in Phoenix, as well as the expansion of ALTIS’ international projects.
“As an ex international athlete I am delighted to become a Vice President of ALTIS, a company I have seen grow over several years to become a specialist not only in Track & Field but all elite sports. I look forward to assisting the business move forward, but in particular expanding our international exposure.”
Ellie Spain has been promoted to Education Director after a highly successful two-year period serving as Digital Education Manager, guiding the launch of ALTIS’ digital education platform and five acclaimed courses. In her new role, she will lead the upscale of the ALTIS Education Program, and direct its future growth.
“Following the highly successful development of our education provision over the past two years, I am excited to be engaged in this new role, and am confident ALTIS Education will go from strength to strength with the projects we have planned for the future.”
Cade Jones has joined ALTIS’ Tahoe base at the Barton Health Center for Orthopedics and Wellness. Having completed a Masters in Kinesiology, the ALTIS Foundation Course, and a Cressey Performance Internship, Cade brings a range of experience – most recently with Rapid Sport Performance, in Georgia. He will be leading on the development of a youth initiative and establishing an internship program with the South Tahoe High School and Lake Tahoe Community College. These projects will complement his main role working as a Performance Coach to the ‘Barton Performance by ALTIS’ clientele, including elite athletes and the active general population in the Lake Tahoe area.
