Advancing the Craft of Coaching

The NSCA Accredited 2026 ALTIS Speed Summit is the second annual gathering of coaches, therapists, and performance leaders committed to deep, integrative work at the intersection of health and performance.

Hosted on the beautiful campus of Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, this three-day event combines focused dialogue around guiding questions, multi-perspective sessions, and hands-on applied work designed to influence how attendees think, decide, and act in real environments.

Building on the momentum of the 2025 Summit — where coaches came together for meaningful conversation, practical learning, and discussion that carried beyond the room — the 2026 Summit continues that tradition with an expanded program and a community-centered experience.

The result is a weekend that supports connection, reflection, and growth — both on the field and in real practice. Additionally, accredited NSCA members can claim 1.2 NSCA CEUs in Category A for attending.

WHO YOU'LL BE LEARNING FROM

The ALTIS Speed Summit is once again set to bring together a world-class group of practitioners shaping how speed, health, and performance are developed across modern sport.

Over three days, you will learn from coaches, therapists, and performance leaders working across professional teams, Olympic sport, and leading performance environments.

More leading voices are already confirmed and scheduled to be announced soon

Three Days. One Clear Progression.

The 2026 ALTIS Speed Summit is built around questions rather than lectures.

Each session is constrained by a clear prompt.
Each hour integrates multiple perspectives.
Each day builds toward application.

The weekend follows a deliberate progression.

✅ Friday opens by challenging assumptions and examining the ideas shaping modern practice.

✅ Saturday morning shifts into longer-form keynote presentations. Each session is a single extended talk followed by moderated discussion and audience Q&A.

✅ Saturday afternoon shifts to a different format designed to surface how experienced practitioners think through complex questions in health and performance. Each session centers on a single prompt. Three speakers offer brief opening responses before the conversation opens into a facilitated discussion.

✅ Sunday brings the work onto the field. Attendees select from small-group practical sessions where ideas are tested in live environments and methods are explored through direct participation and-or observation. The objective is to connect principles to execution and leave with insight that can be applied immediately.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Coaches, therapists, performance directors, and sport scientists working across professional teams, Olympic programs, and high-performance environments.

The Summit is designed for practitioners responsible for athlete health, speed development, and performance outcomes inside competitive systems.

Last year’s attendees represented a wide range of environments. Coaches and performance staff joined from the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Premier League academies, Olympic programs, and leading private performance facilities. Others came from high school and collegiate programs across the United States and internationally.

The shared thread was simple. People responsible for helping athletes perform at a high level, and interested in learning from others working toward the same goal.
