World Athletics Center athletes Frankie Wright and Andrew Steele were both in action this weekend at the Oxy Invite, an event hosted by the Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Both athletes competed in the 400m, and used the event as preparation for the summer. It was American Wright’s first meet of the year posting a time of 47.39, whilst British athlete Andrew Steele recorded a time of 46.34.
Meanwhile in Jamaica, discus thrower, Vikas Gowda who was representing India, clinched gold in the World Challenge Meeting at Kingston on Sunday. The World Athletics Center thrower posted a distance of 61.38 metres to win the event.
