Altis Coaches Dan Pfaff, John Godina and Andreas Behm are currently onsite in Korea as part of their partnership with the KAAC, delivering coaches’ education to the KAAF coaches and to coaches from 18 other Far East/Island nations.
“The KAAF has been a wonderful partner in facilitating our trip and creating this great event.” – John Godina
The world renowned coaching trio are delivering Altis Phase 1 Coaches Courses in the sprints & hurdles, LJ & TJ, HJ, PV and Shot Put & Discus. Additional learning modules beyond the Phase 1 curriculum will also be delivered with emphasis on hurdles, relays and training program planning.
Altis founder John Godina, one of the most recent inductees to the US Track Hall of Fame, explained “this is a unique opportunity to reach coaches from smaller Far East/Island nations with few resources for self-improvement.
These coaches are motivated to learn and had to apply for a limited number of attendance slots through the KAAF. The purpose is solely to spread knowledge to coaches who hunger for learning.
The KAAF has been a wonderful partner in facilitating our trip and creating this great event. We are happy to help them introduce sport at its highest levels to previously unserviced nations’ coaches…all of our interaction with the coaches and athletes of Korea has been a pleasure. I foresee a long, happy partnership with the KAAF.”
Altis are currently hosting Korea’s best Long Jumpers, High Jumpers, Hurdlers and Decathletes onsite in Phoenix and are excited at the prospect of developing this successful international relationship with the KAAF over time.
