We are excited to announce our second Apprentice Coach Program of the 2014-15 season. This will be similar to last season’s Programs, where it will be a 5 day event, with at least 3 guest coaches sharing their thoughts in the WAC Afternoon Lecture Series.
Your day at Altis will look like this:
• observation of pre-track performance therapy
• observation/interaction with on-track training
• observation/interaction with weight-room training
• guest coach lecture
• interactive & informal pool-side chat with the WAC coaches
including Dan Pfaff
These are full days – beginning at 8:30am and finishing up around 4:30pm. This is a Monday-Friday event; however, coaches are welcome to stay through the weekend and attend practice on the Saturday – although there will not be an end-of-day pool-side chat, there will be time for informal discussion.
Guest coaches so far confirmed are Brett Bartholomew from EXOS, Andy O’Brien – strength coach to many NHL stars including Sydney Crosby, and legendary strength coach Buddy Morris from the Arizona Cardinals.
Says Coach Program Manager Nick Sheuerman: “We have been very lucky so far in that we have managed to attract some first-rate guest-coaches delivering some phenomenal content to our Apprentice Coaches. The November ACP is no exception – we can’t wait to welcome Brett and Buddy back to the WAC, and look forward to meeting Andy. We actively try to offer as many different educational opportunities as possible during our ACP weeks – and once again, I am confident that this will be an amazing week for all!”
In keeping with our real-world pricing structure, we are charging only $795 for this Event. This includes meet & greet opening evening welcome dinner, daily lunch, a WAC Program manual, and a Altis ACP T-shirt. If you are interesting in attending this event, please send an email to email@example.com and write in the subject line ‘I’M IN!’. A member of our team will respond to you shortly thereafter with more details.
